Ariana began her journey through life drawing and creating from an early age. She jumped on the highway to her career by studying Architecture at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where she switched majors after realizing Interior Design was her calling.  She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, and was awarded the Highest Achievement Award in her major. After graduating, she began the first year of her career at Robb & Stucky, followed by VStarr Interiors, where she worked for 5 years on a wide variety of project types. She became a licensed Interior Designer, and later started her own firm, which has grown into what designBAR is today.

GLENN SAVAGE

MANAGING PARTNER

Schooled as a marine engineer at Kings Point, Glenn’s offshore career culminated in obtaining a Chief Engineers license on unlimited horsepower vessels. After starting a family, Glenn moved on from his life at sea to help grow DesignBAR into what it is today.

NICOLE UTAMA

ASSISTANT DESIGNER

Nicole is a recent graduate of SCAD’s Interior Design program, originally from Jakarta. She moved to the U.S. four years ago to chase her passion for design—and hasn’t looked back since. When she’s not working on spatial layouts or mood boards, you can find her exploring new places, baking something sweet, or playing a casual game of pool with friends.
